Chicago United’s Corporate Inclusion Institute-Cohort V launched Friday, February 4. This talent development program welcomed 88 professionals from 23 clusters dedicated to driving business performance through inclusion and transforming corporate culture. The year-long program, featuring group learning and one-on-one coaching sessions, provides participants the knowledge, tools and support necessary to drive performance.

John O. Hudson, III, President and Chief Executive Officer of Nicor Gas and a 2021 Business Leader of Color, highlighted the Opening Session with an inspiring keynote address. As an active CU Corporate Member, Nicor’s leadership has enrolled 5 Inclusion Clusters since the program’s launch in 2019. “My focus has always been on making sure my teammates have a sense of belonging,” Hudson told the audience. “An inclusive culture doesn’t happen by accident. It really is a result of daily, intentional action.”
